have been a loyal Food Lion customer for many years. on my the last visit brought plastic bags to be recycled as the website had said would be possible. outside store were two big green containers as well as what looked like brown plastic garbage containers. none were labeled to help determine for sure. was directed back to the green containers by customer service. since they were not the same asked employee sitting outside for clarification. he said he has no idea but was helpful, opened both of them and found garbage in both. said "nice thought" and walked inside. went back to customer service and employee shrugged her shoulders. when I said it might be helpful to have them labeled she said she guessed she'd "tell them." told her was just reporting it and walked away. neither employee was obviously concerned that bags couldn't be recycled, especially customer service. may not shop there again.
