I am pregnant and went in for pelvic floor therapy and to help with strength during labor and post baby. I was referred by my OBGYN who told me "most insurance will cover it". I went for evaluation and they took my insurance card and the next day I was told "my insurance will cover 30 visits at 100%" then asked to sign a paper to accept it. Today I got a bill in the mail for $500 and it wont be the last bill. When I called I was told that my insurance would cover 30 visits after I hit my deductible and told i signed a paper that said I understood. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!! They tell you one thing to your face and have you sign something that says something else. You think you can trust them because it is medically related. I didn't need PT. The only reason I did it is because I thought it would be helpful for me and my baby and that my insurance covered it. It was not a good feeling to come home from work 2 weeks before my baby is due and realize i am responsible for $1,000 in unexpected payments. I will never go back and would never recommend this place. I would switch doctors right now too if I hadn't already paid mine 80% of my bill as they are obviously getting kickback on scam taking advantage of expecting mothers trying to do what is best for themselves and their unborn babies.
