Called at 2:21 today, I understand it's a holiday weekend. They told me the truck would arrive between 3:00 and 3:15. Then I called again and they said 3:35. He showed up in a pickup at 4:07, no tow truck. I have 99 suburban with air when your driving. I kept my foot on the pedal for 1 1/2 hours trying to stay comfortable. Not sure why a tow truck didn't show up. We got the spare out that was flat. Got air in it and we were on our way. Hopefully the next call will work out better, otherwise I will cancel my membership, cheaper to call a tow truck.

It is now the THIRD DAY of trying to tow a vehicle from just across the SC border in Savannah to my mechanic in Bluffton, SC. AAA has been absolutely useless in getting the correct truck sent (a snatch truck) and lied about the truck being on it's way. WTH? AAA Carolinas and AAA Georgia apparently have no real way of coordinating tows, and in this day and age, that's just mind blowing. GET IT TOGETHER!
I waited 4hrs for a tow truck. Just to tow it 25mins down the road. First, they said about 1hr, I called again at 9:30, they said 45mins. First call I made was at 730pm and they got there at 1130pm. Very ridiculous! The staff was friendly and helpful though.
